At Dahab, we respect your privacy and provide you with full control over your data. If you wish to stop using our services, you can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

How to Request Account Deletion

Option 1: Through the Dahab App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the mobile application:

  1. Open the Dahab User App on your device.
  2. Go to your Profile or Settings tab.
  3. Look for the "Delete Account" or "Account Security" section.
  4. Confirm your request. Your account will be queued for deletion immediately.

Option 2: Web Request (If app is uninstalled)

If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion by contacting our support team:

Email us at dahabdeliveryps@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Please include the phone number associated with your account so we can verify your identity.

Data Deletion & Retention

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our active databases:

  • Personal Profile: Your name, phone number, and profile picture.
  • Saved Addresses: All delivery locations you have saved.
  • Notification Tokens: All links to your device for push notifications.

Important Note on Data Retention:

To comply with local financial and legal regulations (such as tax laws and order records), Dahab retains transactional data (order history, payment amounts, and timestamps) for a period of up to 7 years. However, this data is anonymized where possible and is no longer linked to your personal identity in our marketing or operational systems.

Processing Time

Deletion requests made through the app are processed instantly. Email requests are typically processed within 3-5 business days after identity verification.
